Pre K Fours Classes

There are three class options for Pre K Fours. A Monday/Wednesday/Thursday or Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday three-day option or a Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday four-day option. All classes meet from 9:00 to 2:30 PM.

Our Pre K Fours classes offer many opportunities for children to play, explore and develop their independence and creativity within our thoughtfully structured, play-based, learning environments. Teachers help students with pre-literacy skills, such as letter and phoneme recognition, vocabulary expansion, and print awareness. Numerical awareness, counting, one-to-one correspondence and strengthening handwriting skills are also a strong classroom focus.

Pre K Fours also provides many occasions to build empathy, active listening, conflict resolution, and recognition of emotions.

The Pre K Fours classes enjoy the Specials of Music, Chapel and Kid Fit each week. Classes have a morning snack, a morning recess, lunch and an afternoon recess each day. CCDC maintains a teacher to student ratio of 2:16 in all Pre K Four classes
